Mission Statement

The Media Center is an integral part of the school. The Library Media Center will serve as a resource center for students, faculty and the community. The main focus is to provide informational resources and services that will impact overall student achievement. Emphasis will be placed on three specific goals. To encourage and promote information skill development among students, to encourage and promote reading as a necessary component to the learning process and an activity of enjoyment, and to engage in collaboration with teachers to promote the integration of literature, information skills and technology skills into their instructional program. It is our belief that students are the link to our future and must have the reading skills, writing skills, information literacy skills and the technology skills to become happy, productive and successful citizens.
